Brhat Karuna Visesa Brhat Pada Samdach Brhat Padma Rajadhiraja Ramadipati Sri Suriya Varman Dharmika Varattama Parama Maha Chakrapatradhiraja Isvara Kambul Kambuja Maha Indrapati Gururatta Rajaratta Mahasthana Paramanatha Parama Bupati Jaya Amachas Jivitha Ludhibana Muhammad Ibrahim [Ramadipati I], King of Cambodia. b. at Oudong, 1614, as Chau Banya Chandra [Chand], third son of Jaya Jatha II, by his fifth wife, Anak Munang Puspa [Bossa], educ. privately. Raised to Royal rank and granted the title of Brhat Pada Amachas Chandra Sadha. Killed his cousin and seized the throne, 5th January 1642. He fell deeply in love with a young Muslim girl and converted to Islam in order to marry her, taking the name of Muhammad Ibrahim, in 1644. Thereafter nicknamed Sdach Jenh Sasna (the King-apostate). Alienated the entire Royal family and the nobles by this act, impelling them to seek his overthrow with Vietnamese help, January 1658. Defeated by the coalition and deported in a cage to Quang-bingh on the Vietnamese frontier, ca. October 1658. m. (first) H.M. Queen (Brhat Karuna Visesa Brhat Bhagavati Brhat) Devi Kshatriyi, presviously styled Brhat Varman Devi, a princess. m. (second) ca. 1644, Anak Brhat Mae Nan Savasa Puspa, previously styled Nang Avas [Hvah], a Malay Muslim girl from the village of Khleang Sbek, daughter of Cai Sun [Feu Sut], Pudesaraja, by his wife, Nang Mah, descendant of a Cham princely family. m. (third) Anak Mnan Kapah Pau, a Malay, who took refuge in Siam after the death of the King. He was k. at Pat' Anjien, 1659, having had issue, three sons:
1) Prince (Brhat Pada Amachas Anak Anga) Ni [Ji]. b. at Oudong, after 1638. He took refuge Siam, 1660.
2) Prince (Brhat Pada Amachas Anak Anga) Varajudaya. b. at Oudong, after 1638. He took refuge Siam, 1660.
3) Prince (Brhat Pada Amachas Anak Anga) Amaya [Amm]. b. at Oudong, after 1638. He took refuge Siam, 1660.
