CopyrightęH.H. Maharaja Shri Brijendra Sawai Sir Jaswant Singhji Bahadur Jang, Maharaja of Bharatpur, GCSI (1.1.1877). b. at Deeg, 1st March 1851, only son of H.H. Maharaja Shri Brijendra Sawai Balwant Singhji Bahadur Jang, Maharaja of Bharatpur, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, 21st March 1853. Ascended the gadi, 8th July 1853, reigning under a Council of Regency until he came of age. Assumed limited ruling powers, 10th June 1869 and was invested with full ruling powers, 28th March 1872. Received a sanad of adoption, 11th March 1862. Attended the Imperial Durbar at Delhi, where he received January 1877. Received a personal salute of 19-guns in 1890. The Maharaj Phaltan Regiment of Infantry raised in his name in 1857. Rcvd. POWĺs gold medal (1876) and the KIH gold medal (1877). m. (first) at Patiala, December 1859, H.H. Maharani Sri Bakhtawar Kaurji Sahiba (b. at Patiala, 1849; d. there, 17th February 1870), nÚe Maharajkumari Bibiji Bishan Kaur Sahiba, third daughter of H.H. Farzand-i-Khas-i-Daulat-i-Inglishia, Mansur-i-Zaman, Amir ul-Umara, Maharajadhiraja Raj Rajeshwar Yadu Vansha Vatans Bhatti Kul Bushan Sri Maharaja-i-Rajgan, Maharaja Sir Narendra Singh Mahendra Bahadur, Maharaja of Patiala, GCSI, by his third wife, H.H. Maharani Sri Maji Sahiba. m. (second) H.H. Maharani Sri Nihal Kaurji Sahiba, daughter of Shri Roop Singh, of Attari, Punjab. m. (third) at Deeg, 187x, H.H. Maharani Sri Maaji Daryab Kaur Sahiba (d. at Khas Kothi, Lohagarh, Bharatpur, 1892), daughter of Chaudhuri Narain Singh, of Beda, in UP. m. (fourth) H.H. Maharani Sri Ajmat Kaurji Sahiba (d.s.p. at Khas Mahal, Lohagarh, Bharatpur, 1954), daughter of Shri Inder Singh, of Balipur, UP. m. (fifth) H.H. Maharani Sri Gokul Kaurji Sahiba [Maaji Jaginewali] (d. at Deeg, 12th December 1893), daughter of Shri Bholey Singhji, and sister of Chaudhuri Birbal Singh, of Jagina, in Bharatpur state. He d. at the Deeg Palace, 12th December 1893, having had issue, four sons and three daughters:

1893 ľ 1900 H.H. Maharaja Shri Brijendra Sawai Ram Singhji Bahadur Jang, Maharaja of Bharatpur. b. at Lohagarh, Bharatpur, 21st September 1873, second son of H.H. Maharaja Shri Brijendra Sawai Sir Jaswant Singhji Bahadur Jang, Maharaja of Bharatpur, GCSI, by his second wife, H.H. Maharani Sri Darya Kaurji Maji Sahiba [Dadiji Jaginewali], educ. Mayo Coll, Ajmer. Succeeded on the death of his father, 12th December 1893. Ascended the gadi, at Lohagarh, Bharatpur, 25th December 1893. In consequence of his intemperate habits, he was deprived of his administrative powers in 1895. The administration was conducted, first by the Diwan wih the assistance of a consultative council, and later by a council under the general control of the Political Agent. His ruling powers were suspended on 10th August 1900, following the murder of one of his personal servants. After an enquiry he was deposed and exiled to Agra, 27th August 1900. m. (first) at Lohagarh, Bharatpur, 17th April 1884, H.H. Maharani Sri Kishan Kaurji Sahiba, a daughter of a Zamindar of Sappairah, in the Aligarh district. m. (second) H.H. Maharani Sri Maaji Giriraj Kaurji Sahiba, CI (1.1.1918) (d. at Lohagarh, Bharatpur, 24th August 1922), Regent for her son from 27th August 1900 to 28th November 1918, rcvd: Delhi Durbar gold medals (1903 and 1911), daughter of a Zamindar of Deoli, in Bharatpur state. He d. in exile at Agra, September 1929, having had issue:
