 1869 - 1911 Lieutenant-General H.H. Rustam-i-Dauran, Arustu-i-Zaman, Wal Mamaluk, Asaf Jah VI, Muzaffar ul-Mamaluk, Nizam ul-Mulk, Nizam ud-Daula, Nawab Mir Mahbub 'Ali Khan Bahadur, Sipah Salar, Fath Jang, Nizam of Hyderabad, GCB (c 3.12.1902), GCSI (17.11.1884). b. at the Purani Haveli, Hyderabad, 17th August 1866, youngest son of H.H. Asaf Jah V, Afzal ud-Daula, Nawab Mir Tahniyat 'Ali Khan Bahadur, Nizam of Hyderabad, GCSI, educ. privately. Proclaimed on the death of his father, 28th February 1869. Ascended the musnaid at the Qadim Haveli, Hyderabad, 29th February 1869. reigned under a Council of Regency until he came of age. Invested with full ruling powers by the Viceroy, the Marquess of Ripon, in person, 5th February 1884. Attended the Coronation Durbar at Delhi 1903. Hon Lieut-Gen British Army 24/6/1910. Patron United Indian Patriotic Assoc 1888. Rcvd: KIH gold medal (1877), Delhi Durbar gold medal (1903), and the GC of the Order of the Red Eagle of Prussia (1911). m. (first) at Khilwat Palace, Chow-Mahalla, Hyderabad, before 15th March 1883, H.H. Amat uz-Zahra Begum Sahiba, Madar-i-Deccan (d. at Purani Haveli, Hyderabad, 15th October 1929, bur. there at the Masjid Joodi), nee Sahibzadi Zahra un-nisa Begum Sahiba, daughter of H.E. Mukhtar ul-Mulk, Shuja ud-Daula, Nawab Mir Sir Tawab ‘Ali Khan, Salar Jang Bahadur, GCSI, sometime Chief Minister, by his mutayi wife, Preetamji Sahiba, a Hindu lady. m. (a) Ujjala Begum Sahiba. m. (b) Rahat Begum Sahiba. m. (c) Sardar Begum Sahiba (d.s.p. at Purani Haveli, Hyderabad, 11th Augsut 1950). m. (d) Umda Begum Sahiba. He d. at Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad, 29th August 1911 (bur. there at the Mecca Masjid), having had issue, seven sons and seven daughters:
