He d. at London, 16th June 1991 (bur. Sulaibikhat Cemetery, Al-Asimah, Kuwait), having had issue, three sons and two daughters:
    • a) Shaikh Mubarak bin ‘Abdu’llah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah. b. at Beirut, Lebanon, 29th August 1961 (s/o So’ad), educ. Cairo, Egypt. He d. following a severe asthma attack onboard a flight from Cairo to Geneva, at Athens, Greece, 15th June 1975 (bur. Sulaibikhat Cemetery, Al-Asimah, Kuwait).
    • b) Shaikh Muhammad bin ‘Abdu’llah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah. b. at Cairo, Egypt, 1971 (s/o So’ad). He had issue, three sons and three daughters:

      • ii) Shaikha Fazila bint Muhammad bin ‘Abdu’llah Al-Sabah.
      • iii) Shaikha Noor bint Muhammad bin ‘Abdu’llah Al-Sabah.
    • c) Shaikh Mubarak bin ‘Abdu’llah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah. b. at Cairo, Egypt, 1978 and named after his later brother (s/o So’ad). He has issue, a daughter:
      • i) Shaikha So’ad bint Mubarak bin ‘Abdu’llah Al-Sabah.
    • a) Shaikha Nawal bint ‘Abdu’llah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah. b. at Kuwait, 1954 (d/o Umm Nawal), educ. USA.
    • b) Shaikha Amnia bint ‘Abdu’llah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah. b. at Cairo, Egypt, 1972 (d/o So’ad).
    • c) Shaikha Shaima bint ‘Abdu’llah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah. b. at the Hadi Hospital, Kuwait, 1980 (d/o So’ad).
  • 1) Shaikha Sharifa Bibi bint Mubarak Al-Sabah (d/o Amina). m. as his wife, Shaikh Saud Bey Al-Sabah (b. 1876; d. 23rd January 1933), son of her paternal uncle, H.E. Shaikh Muhammad Pasha Al-Sabah, Shaikh of Kuwait. She d. 1933, having had issue – see above.
  • 2) Shaikha Hussa bint Mubarak Al-Sabah (d/o Al-Jazi). m. (first) as his seconcd wife, Shaikh Salman bin Hamud Al-Sabah (b. 1881; d. at the Maud Hospital, Basra, 17th November 1933 (bur. Zubair Cemetary), son of Shaikh Hamud bin Sabah II Al-Sabah. m. (second) at Kuwait, May 1940, Shaikh Salim bin Hamud Al-Sabah (b. 1886; d. at Beirut, 3rd September 1945), son of Shaikh Hamud bin Sabah II Al-Sabah. She d. at a London clinic, 2nd May 1962, having had issue, one son and three daughters by her second husband – see above.
  • 3) Shaikha Mudhi bint Mubarak Al-Sabah (d/o Hussa). She d. unm. at Kuwait, January 1958.
  • 4) Shaikha Mariam bint Mubarak Al-Sabah (d/o Fatima). m. as his seconcd wife, Shaikh Saud Bey Al-Sabah (b. 1876; d. 23rd January 1933), son of her paternal uncle, H.E. Shaikh Muhammad Pasha Al-Sabah, Shaikh of Kuwait. She d. at Kuwait, 14th March 1981, having had issue, four sons and two daughters – see above.
  • 5) Shaikha Habiba bint Mubarak Al-Sabah (d/o Ghanima). She d. unm. at Kuwait, ca. 1922.
  • 6) Shaikha Mauza bint Mubarak Al-Sabah (d/o Ghanima). m. at Kuwait, May 1908, Shaikh Sabah Bey Al-Sabah (b. 1874; d. after 1921), son of her paternal uncle, H.E.Shaikh Muhammad Pasha Al-Sabah, Shaikh of Kuwait. She was k. in a fire, 1932.
  • 7) Shaikha Aisha bint Mubarak Al-Sabah. m. Shaikh Ibrahim bin Jabir Al-‘Ali Al-Sabah (b. 1894; d. 19xx), son of Shaikh Jabir bin Fazil Al-Sabah, by a slave. She d. at Kuwait, 1950, having had issue – see above.
  • 8) Shaikha Bibi bint Mubarak Al-Sabah.
