1) Brhat Voraratta [Phra Vo]. A noblemen who helped King Siri Bunyasena ascend the throne of Vientienne, but who left that kingdom when his dreams of becoming Uparaja were not fulfilled. Established himself as an independent ruler at Nong Bua Lampu, which he renamed Nakorn Khuankhan Karb Keo Bua Barn. He was k. in battle against King Siri Bunyasena, at Don Motdaeng, 1778, having had issue, one son:
a) Thao Tirthikama [Tit Kham], Uparaja (cre. 1791). Deputy Governor of Upala Rajadhani [Ubol Rasatani] 1795-1814, Governor of Khemmarat 1814.
2) Brhat Daya [Phra Ta]. Joined his brother in establishing Nakorn Khuankhan Karb Keo Bua Barn. He was k. in battle against the Burmese, before 1768, having had issue, four sons:
a) Thao Fay Nah, who succeeded as Brhat Vijaya Raja Khatiya Varman,[Phra Vichaiyarat Khattiyawongsa], Prince (Chao Muang) of Negara Champasakra [Nakhon Champasak] - see below.
b) Thao Kamabhunga [Kham Phong], Brhat Padma Suriya Ratana (cre. 1779). Governor of Upala Rajadhani [Ubol Rasatani] 1784-1795. m. (first) ... m. (second) 1779, H.H. Princess (Chao Nang) Tulini [Tui], only daughter of H.R.H. Prince (Brhat Chao) Maha Dharmadeva Budhisada Kadhinaratana [Tammatevo Pudisatkhattinarat], Viceroy of Negara Champa Nakapuri Sri [Nakhon Champa Nakapurisi]. He d. at Ban Bo Celame, having had issue, three sons and four daughters:
(1) Thao Singha [Sing], Raja Varman (cre. 1779). Appointed as Chao Muang of Yosorat, by the King of Siam, 1815.
(2) Thao Duva [Tho] (s/o Princess Tulini).
(3) Thao Deva [Tha] (s/o Princess Tulini).
(1) Nang Bhini [Phin] (d/o Princess Tulini).
(2) Nang Kama [Kham] (d/o Princess Tulini).
(3) Nang Kampani [Campa] (d/o Princess Tulini).
(4) Nang Kamasingha [Kham Sing] (d/o Princess Tulini).
c) Thao Dityabhuma [Thit Phom], Phra Bhuma Raja Varman [Phommaratsawongsa] (cre. 1791). Governor of Upala Rajadhani [Ubol Rasatani] 1791-1841.
d) Thao Mankara [Muong]. Governor of Yasudara [Yasotorn] 1814.
1791 - 1811 Brhat Vijaya Raja Khatiya Varman [Vichaiyarat Khattiyawongsa], Prince (Chao Muang) of Negara Champasakra [Nakhon Champasak], elder son of Phra Ta. Styled Thao Fay Nahand served as Governor of Yasudara [Yasotorn] before his accession. Appointed as prince-governor (Chao Muong) by the Siamese and raised to the title of Phra Vijaya Raja Khatiya Varman, 1791. Establised a new capital at Ban Kantakerng, renamed Negara Champasakra [Nakhon Champasak]. He d. 1811, having had issue, two sons and three daughters:
1) Prince (Chao) Buddha [Bout], Prince (Chao Muang) of Negara Bhanuma [Nakorn Phanom]. Installed as prince-governor of Nakorn Phanom by his father.
