GENEALOGY
1765 - 1773 H.H. Maulana Paduka Sri Tuanku Sultan Mahmud Shah II ibni al-Marhum Sultan Muhammad Shah Aminu'llah [al-Marhum Muda], Sultan and Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Perak, second son of H.H. Maulana Paduka Sri Tuanku Sultan Muhammad Shah Aminu'llah ibni al-Marhum Sultan Mansur Shah, Sultan and Yang di-Pertuan of Perak, educ. privately. Appointed as Raja Kechil Muda 1750, and became Heir Apparent with the title of Paduka Sri Tuanku Raja Muda, Wakil us-Sultan, Wazir ul-Azam 1764. Succeeded on the death of his brother, 14th July 1765. Installed at Pulau Indira Sakti 20th July 1765. Removed his capital to Pasir Pulai, which he renamed Pulau Besar Indra Mulia. m. ca. 1750, the Raja Kechil Ampuan, daughter of H.H. Maulana Paduka Sri Tuanku Sultan 'Ala' ud-din Mughayat Ri'ayat Shah ibni al-Marhum Sultan Mansur Shah, Sultan and Yang di-Pertuan of Perak. He d. at Pulau Besar Indra Mulia, 17th June 1773 (bur. there), having had issue, one son and one daughter, including:
