He d. at the Palace of Ennil, Marrakesh, 16th September 1873 (bur. at the Tomb of Mulay ‘Ali as-Sharif, Rissani, Tafilalt), having had issue, including seventeen sons and two daughters:

Relinquished the Khalifate and the style of Imperial Highness, 7th April 1956.
