H.I.M. Nasir ud-Din Shah, Shahanshah of Persia, had further issue:
  • 13) H.I.H. Shahzada Sultan ‘Ala ud-din Mirza. b. at Tehran, before 2nd November 1857. He d. after 1858.
  • 14) H.I.H. Shahzada Sultan Nuzrat ud-din Mirza, Salar us-Sultana. b. at Tehran, 2nd May 1882 (s/o Zinat us-Sultana), educ. privately. Governor-General of Fars 1893-1894 and Khorasan 1894-1895, and Governor of Hamadan 1903-1904. Settled in France after the constitutional revolution but returned to Iran in 1945. Scholar, painter and poet. He d. from cancer, at Paris, France, before 22nd March 1955, having had issue, three sons:
    • a) H.R.H. Shahzada Sultan Husain Mirza.

  • 17) H.I.H. Shahzada Muhammad Reza Mirza, Rukn us-Sultana. b. at Tehran, 14th February 1883 (s/o Badr us-Sultana), educ. privately. Governor of Kushan 1903-1904. m. (first) Zeb un-nisa Khanum. m. (second) Badr us-Sultana, who had one son and three daughters. m. (third) 1905, H.H. Shahzadi Quds us-Sultana, widow of H.H. Shahzada Ihtisham ul-Mulk, and daughter of Major-General H.H. Shahzada Abu’l ‘Ali Mirza, Mutamad ud-Daula. He d. before 21st March 1952 (bur. there at the City Cemetery, reburried at Qum), having had issue, three sons and three daughters:

  • 20) H.I.H. Shahzada Husain ‘Ali Mirza [Hosein-Ali Turkman Nasseri Qajar], Yamin ud-Daula. b. at Tehran, 31st August 1890 (s/o Marjana Khanum), educ. Imperial Palace Sch, Tehran, and Theresianum Acad, Vienna, Austria. Counsellor to Muhammad Reza Shah 1946. Presdt Qajar Family Assoc (Kaanoun-e Khaanevaadegi-e Ghadjar). Rcvd: GC of the Order of the Nile of Egypt (1921). He d. at Tehran, 8th July 1952 (bur. Zahir ud-Daula Cemetery, Shemiran) having had issue.

Amir Muhammad Mahdi Khan-e Qajar Devehlu, ‘Itizad ud-Daula (b. 1858; d. 17th October 1889), elder son of Field Marshal H.H. Amir Muhammad Khan-e Qajar Devehlu, Amir ul-Umara, sometime Minister for War and Grand C-in-C of the Army, by his wife, a daughter of Field Marshal H.I.H. Shahzada ‘Abbas Mirza, Qahraman ul-Mulk, Nai’b us-Sultana, Crown Prince of Persia. She d. at Tehran, 9th April 1878, having had issue, three sons and one daughter - see Persia (Devehlu).

  • 5) H.I.H. Shahzadi Fatima Khanum, ‘Ismat ud-Daula. b. at Tehran, before 1st September 1856 (d/o Taj ud-Daula). m. at Tehran, before 5th May 1867, H.H. Amir Dost Muhammad Khan [Aga Amir], Nizam ud-Daula (cre. 1871) (b. at Tehran, before 22nd August 1857; d. at Odessa, Russia, before 30th November 1913, bur. Shrine of Hamza Tahir, Rey, Tehran), previously styled Mu’ayyir ul-Mamalik, painter, calligrapher and photographer, Persian representative at the opening of the Suez Canal, rcvd: Nishan-i-Qods (the Very Sacred Decoration), Knt of the Order of the White Eagle of Russia (for non-Christians), eldest son of H.E.   • 6) H.I.H. Shahzadi Zia us-Sultana. b. before 1st September 1856 (d/o Nadim us-Sultana). m. 1874, as his second wife, H.H. Aga Sayyid Zainal-Abidin Al-Haj, Zahir us-Islam (b. 1847; d. at Tehran, January 1904), Imam-i-Jum’a of Tehran, son of Aga Sayyid Abu’l Qasim Al-Haj, Imam-i-Jum’a of Tehran, by his wife, a daughter of Mirza Muhammad Mahdi. She d. before 22nd March 1902, having had issue, two sons and three daughters.
  • 7) H.I.H. Shahzadi Qasrail Khanum, Banu Uzma, Iftikhar ud-Daula. b. at Tabriz, Azerbaijan, before 21st August 1857 (d/oIffat us-Sultana), educ. privately. Granted the personal title of Iftikhar ud-Daula 1857, and prom to Banu Uzma 20th March 1886. m. (first) at Mazandaran, before 5th May 1867, H.H. Mirza Yahya Khan, sometime Adjutant to the Shah. m. (second), after the death of her first husband, H.E. Sher Khan, Azad ud-Daula. m. (third) Major-General H.H. Abu’l Fath Khan-e Qajar, Sarim ud-Daula (b. at Yazd, before 27th November 1848; d. at Isfahan, 16th February 1888), son of Field Marshal Amir ul-Umara H.H. Muhammad Hasan Khan-e Qajar Ziadlu, Khan Baba Khan, by his wife, H.R.H. Shahzadi Mah Rukhsar Khanum, Fakhr ud-Daula, daughter of Field Marshal H.I.H. Shahzada ‘Abbas Mirza, Qahraman ul-Mulk, Nai’b us-Sultana, Crown Prince of Persia. She d. after 1920, having had issue, seven sons and one daughter by her third husband (all of whom married daughters of her brother Zill us-Sultan) - see Persia (Qajar-Ziadlu).
  • 8) H.I.H. Shahzadi Afshar ud-Daula. b. before 31st July 1859 (d/o Fakhr ul-Mulk). m. at Tehran, before 23rd March 1871, H.H. Shahzada Abu’l Fath Mirza, Mu’ayyad ud-Daula, GCMG (b. 1850; d. at Qum, before 11th December 1912), sometime Governor-General of Khorasan and Fars, eldest son of Field Marshal H.R.H. Shahzada Sultan Murad Mirza, Hisam us-Sultana, sometime Governor-General of Khorosan, by his wife, Gauhar us-Sultan. She had issue, three daughters - see above.
  • 9) H.I.H. Shahzadi Valiya Khanum [Walah], Qadrat us-Sultana. b. before 31st July 1859 (d/o Homa Khanum). m. (first) as his second wife, General H.E. Muhammad Husain Khan-e Qajar Devehlu, I’tizad ul-Mulk (d. at Simnan, 8th September 1893), sometime Master-General of the Artillery (Amir-i-Topkhana) and Governor of Simnan & Damghan, second son Field Marshal H.H. Amir Muhammad Khan-e Qajar Devehlu, Amir ul-Umara, sometime Minister for War and Supreme C-in-C of the Army - see Persia (Devehlu). m. (second) at the Gulistan Palace, Tehran, 10th December 1894, Major-General H.H. Shahzada ‘Abdu’l ‘Ali Mirza, Mu’tamad ud-Daula (b. before 11th August 1858; d. 1906), sometime Governor of Zanjan and Khamsa and Mbr Consultative Council of State, second son of H.R.H. Shahzada Haji Farhad Mirza, Mu’tamad ud-Daula, sometime Governor-General of Fars, by his wife, H.R.H. Shahzadi Jahan Ara Khanum, daughter of his paternal uncle, H.I.H. Shahzada Muhammad ‘Ali Mirza, Daulat Shah, Suga ul-Mulk, Qavam ul-Khalifa, sometime Governor-General of Fars. She d. at Tehran, 1915, having had issue, two daughters by her first husband - see above.
  • 10) H.I.H. Shahzadi Shams ud-Daula (d/o Shams us-Sultana).
  • 11) H.I.H. Shahzadi Tuman Aga Khanum, Fakhr ud-Daula. b. at Tehran, before 29th June 1862 (d/o Khazin ud-Daula), educ. privately. Compiler and editor of the “Amir Arslan Rumi”. m. before 2nd November 1883, as his second wife, Major-General H.H. Haji Mahdi Quli Khan-e Qajar Quyunlu, Majd ud-Daula, KCMG (b. 1850; d. 1937), Ilkhani of the Royal clan from 1903, fourth son of H.H. Amir ‘Isa Khan Vali Qajar Quyunlu, I’timad ud-Daula, sometime Governor of Yazd. She d.s.p. from tuberculosis, at Tehran, 1st April 1893, aged 32 years (bur. Qum) - see Persia (Amirsoleymani).
  • 12) H.I.H. Shahzadi Turan Aga Khanum, Iran ul-Mulk, Faruq ud-Daula. b. at Tehran, before 18th June 1863 (d/o Khazin ud-Daula), educ. privately. Raised to the title of Malika-i-Iran 1896. Writer and compiler of ancient Persian tales. m. at Tehran, before 4th December 1880, H.H. Amir ‘Ali Khan-e Qajar Devehlu, Zahir ud-Daula (b. 20th August 1864; d. 27th June 1924, bur. Zahir ud-Daula Cemetery, Shemiran), Grand Master of Ceremonies to the Shah, Governor of Mazandaran, Hamadan, Gilan and Kermanshah, son of H.E. Muhammad Nasir Khan-e Qajar Devehlu, Zahir ud-Daula. She d. 13th March 1892, having had issue, three sons and four daughters - see Persia (Devehlu).

Founder Mbr Anjoman-e Horriyat-e Nesvan (Soc. for the Emancipation of Women). m. (first) (div.) Mirza Ibrahim Khan, son of her maternal uncle, General H.E. ‘Abdu’llah Khan Yushi, Intizam ud-Daula, Sardar-i-Amjad. m. (second) (div.) Major-General H.H. Haji Mahdi Quli Khan-e Qajar Quyunlu, Majd ud-Daula, KCMG (b. 1850; d. 1937), Ilkhani of the Royal clan from 1903, fourth son of H.H.   • 15) H.I.H. Shahzadi Akhtar ud-Daula. b. at the Gulistan Palace, Tehran, 23rd December 1881 (d/o Wajah ud-Daula), educ. privately. Previously styled Ihtiram ud-Daula. m. at Tehran, 1894 (or 7th December 1889), as his first wife (div. 1896), Lieutenant-General H.H. Ghulam ‘Ali Khan [Malijak Thani], ‘Aziz us-Sultan, Sardar-i-Muh’tarram (b. at ‘Abbasabad, Tehran, 19th September 1878; d. at Tehran, 1940, bur. Mostofi Family Cemetery, now within Al-Zahra Univ), cmsnd as Maj-Gen Imperial Persian Army, appointed as Cdt Chigini Cavalry and raised to the personal title of ‘Aziz us-Sultan 1886, Keeper of the Royal Signet 1894-1896, a great and unpopular favourite of the Shah, rcvd: the Decoration of the Imperial Portrait, the Orders of the Lion & Sun 1st class (mil), and Nobility (Nishan-i-Majidieh) special class of Turkey, son of Major-General H.E. Mirza Muhammad Amin Khan [Malijak Awwal], Amin-i-Khaqan, somtime Cdt Cagani Cavalry, by his wife, a daughter of Abu’l Qasim Bazzaz. She d. at Tehran, 2nd December 1918 (bur. Founder Mbr Anjuman-i Hurriyat-i Nisvan (Soc for the Emancipation of Women). Author “Crowning Anguish” (1914). m. (first) at Tehran, 8th December 1893 (div. 1907) General H.H. Amir Hasan Khan, Shuja us-Sultana (b. 1883; m. second (div.) ‘Aziz ul Mulk. m. third, Bashir ul-Mulk, by whom he left a further son), GOC-in-C of Azerbaijan 1903, son of Field Marshal H.E. Mirza Muhammad Baqir Khan, Sardar-i-Akram, sometime C-in-C of the Army. m. (second) at Tehran, 17th March 1908 (div.), Qullar Aqasi. She d. at Tehran, 25th January 1936 (bur.   • 18) H.I.H. Shahzadi Fatima Khanum [Fatemah Naseri], Sharaf us-Sultana. b. at the Gulistan Palace, Tehran, 1885 (d/o Waqar us-Sultana). m. H.E. Mustafa Khan, Dabir ud-Daula (d. 1928). She d. after 1942, having had issue, two sons and four daughters.
  • 19) H.I.H. Shahzadi ‘Izzat us-Sultana. b. at the Gulistan Palace, Tehran, 1888.
  • 20) H.I.H. Shahzadi Khadija Khanum [Khadijeh Naseri], ‘Aziz us-Sultana. b. at the Gulistan Palace, Tehran, before 28th August 1889 (d/o Mahbub us-Sultana), educ. privately. m. H.E. Ghulam Hasan Khan Amiraslani, ‘Ihtisham ul-Mulk. She d. after 1942, having had issue, two sons and four daughters.
  • 21) H.I.H. Shahzadi Fatima Khanum [Fatemah Nasseri], Qadrat us-Sultana. b. at the Gulistan Palace, Tehran, 12th January 1891 (d/o Qamar Sultan Khanum), educ. privately. m. (first) (div.) H.H. Shahzada Sultan Junaid Mirza, Mu’tamad ud-Daula (b. at Hamadan, before 18th February 1874), sometime Governor of Tunnakabun, Sultanabad, Mazandaran, and of Astarabad, elder son of Major-General H.H. Shahzada Abu’l ‘Ali Mirza, Mu’tamad ud-Daula, sometime Governor of Zanjan and Khamsa. m. (second) a Brigadier-General in the Persian Cossack Bde. She d. after 1942, having had issue, two sons by her first husband - see above.
  • 22) H.I.H. Shahzadi Hormat us-Sultana. b. at the Gulistan Palace, Tehran, 23rd September and d. there, 16th October 1892.
