Tamatoa II Opoa, Ari'i-rahi of Ra'iatea, son of Tautu, by his wife, Te-unu-ha'eha'a ['Ai'ata], of Bora Bora. Fought many battles and brought Ra'iatea under his sway. m. Te-ao-i-na-ni'a. He had issue, four sons:
 
18xx - 18xx Tamatoa III, Ari'i-rahi of Ra'iatea, eldest son of Rofa'i, by his wife, Marama. m. (first) Mai-he'a, by whom he had issue, one son and three daughters. m. (second) Te-hani, by whom he had issue, two sons and one daughter. m. (third) Hapai-taha, of Hauiri, in Ra'iatea, by whom he had issue, one son. m. (fourth) Te-tuanui-poutahi (same as Hapai-taha?). He had issue, five sons and three daughters:
 
18xx - 1831 Tamatoa IV, Ari'i-rahi of Ra'iatea. b. ca. 1757, as Tamatoa-fa'o, son of Vetea-ra'i U'uru, Ari'i of Opoa, by his third wife, Opai-pai-te-roro. m. Tu-ra'i-Ari'i E-he-vahine, eldest daughter of Mato Teri'i Tepoara'i, High Priest of Ra'iatea and Huahine, by his first wife, Te-ha'apapa I Te-i'oa-tua Teri'i-tari'a, Ari'i-rahi of Huahine, daughter of Teri'i-tari'a. He d. April/September 1831, having had issue, one son and five daughters:
 
1831 - 1857 Moe-'ore Teri'i Tino-rua Te-ari'i Noho-ra'i, Ari'i-rahi of Ra'iatea and Huahine, only son of Tamatoa IV, Ari'i-rahi of Ra'iatea. m. Mahuti Harua-po-a-te-varua-metua, a commoner from Papeari, in Tahiti. He had issue, three sons and two daughters:
 
1857 - 1871 H.R.H. Prince Tamatoa-a-tu [Tamatoa V], Ari'i-rahi of Ra'iatea and Taha'a. b. at Moe'area, 23rd September 1842, sixth son of H.R.H. Prince Te-na-ni'a Ari'i-Fa'aite [Pomare-Tane], Prince Consort of Tahiti,  by his wife, H.M. Pomare IV Vahine-o-Punuateraitua, Queen of Tahiti, Moorea and its dependencies, educ. privately. Adopted by Tamatoa IV, Ari'i-rahi of Ra'iatea and Taha'a. Succeeded on his death, 19th August 1857. Crowned at Opoa, by The Rev. Platt, 1st December 1860. Deposed by his subjects for mismanagement, 8th February 1871. m. at Ra'iatea, 12th July 1863, Moe Ma-hea-nu'u-a-Mai [H.R.H. Princess Moe-a-Mai] (b. at Fa'a, 1st July 1850; d. October 1890), eldest daughter of Te-He-papai Ma-hea-nu'u-a-Mai, of Fa'aa, Judge of the High Court, Pastor and Mbr. Supreme Cncl. of Churches, by his wife, Teri'i Tau-mai-te-ra'i Tepau-a-Tati Ma-hea-nu'u-vahine, youngest daughter of Tetapu-a-Ta'aroa [Tepa'u], the eldest son of Tati Taura-atua-i-Patea, Ari'i-rahi of Papara. He d. at Ra'iatea, 30th September 1881, having had issue, one son and five daughters - see Tahiti.
 
1871 - 1881 Tahi-toe, Ari'i-rahi of Ra'iatea and Taha'a, only son of Hihipa Tahi-toe, by his wife, Te-opua. Proclaimed after the deposition of Tamatoa V, 8th February 1871. Crowned at Uturoa Church, by the Rev. J.C. Vivian, 1st August 1872. Accepted French protection, 1880. m. (first) Te'eva. m. (second) Metua'aro. He d. 1881, having had issue, one son and one daughter:
 
1881 - 1884 Rere-ao Te-hau-roa-ari'i, Ari'i-rahi of Ra'iatea and Taha'a. Succeeded on the death of her father, 1881. Crowned at Uturoa Church, by the Rev. Pearse, 13th April 1881. She d. unm. 18th March 1884.
 
1884 - 1888 Te-uru-ra'i Ari'i-mate Tamatoa-Tau-tu Tamatoa VI, Ari'i-rahi of Ra'iatea and Taha'a. b. at Huahine, 1853, second son of Te-uru-ra'i Ari'i-mate, Ari'i-rahi of Huahine, by his wife, Te-ha'apapa II, Ari'i-rahi of Huahine, eldest daughter of Moe-'ore Teri'i-tino-rua Te-ari'i-noho-ra'I, Ari'i-rahi of Huahine. Crowned as Tamatoa-Tau-tu, by the Rev. E.V. Cooper, 22nd January 1885. Deposed on the annexation of Ra'iatea and Taha'a by the French, 16th March 1888. m. (first) Tetua-nui Ha'amarurai, daughter of Tamatoa Atiti-Oroi, of the Tati family of Papara, by his wife, Teri'i-na-vaha-roa, daughter of Hiro. m. (second) Moe, elder daughter of Te-He-papai Ma-hea-nu'u-a-Mai, of Fa'aa, Judge of the High Court, Pastor and Mbr. Supreme Cncl. of Churches, by his wife, Teri'i Tau-ma-ite-ra'i Tepau-a-Tati Ma-hea-nu'u-vahine, Ari'i of Fa'aa, youngest daughter of Tetapu-a-Ta'aroa [Tepa'u], the eldest son of Tati Taura-atua-i-Patea, Ari'i-rahi of Papara. He had issue, three sons and three daughters:
