of Mukhrani (Mukhrani-batoni). b. before
1488, sixth son of H.M. Konstantini II, King of Georgia,
by his wife, H.M. Queen Thamar. Granted the title of Mukhrani-batoni
by his brother, King Davit X in 1512. Took holy orders
under the name of Varnava (Barnabas), resigning Mukhrani
in favour of his eldest son in 1539. m. H.H. The
Most Brilliant Princess Eleni. He d. ca. 1540,
having had issue, seven sons and three daughters:
