Prince David La’amea Kahalepouli Kawananakoa, by his wife, H.R.H. Princess Abigail Wahi’ika’ahu’ ula, eldest daughter of James Argyll Campbell, Esq, of Kapolei, Oahu, educ. Pleaded guilty to a charge of manslaughter for causing the death of his then common-law wife, and sentenced to 10 years hard labour 20^th November 1937 (paroled after serving 42 months).
