H.I.M. Fath 'Ali Shah, Shahanshah of Persia, had further issue:
5) H.I.H. Shahzada Muhammad Husain 'Ali Mirza, Tau'amanul-Mulk,FarmanFarma (cre. 1799). b. at Larijan, 1st September 1789 (s/o H.M. Queen Badar-i-Jahan Khanum). Governor-General of Fars and Governor of the Persian Gulf Ports 1799-1835. Contested the succession and had himself proclaimed as H.I.M. Zillu'llahGitySitanSikanderShahanJamJahFaridunFarKisraShaukat-i-IslamPanahShari'atPanahHafiz-i-Mulk-i-'AzamSultanHusain'AliShah,ShahanshahoftheGodprotectedrealmsofPersia, 5th December 1834. Captured, blinded and imprisoned in Tehran, April 1835. m. several wives including (a) at Aghanan, 1799, Nawab Hajjiya, daughter of Muhammad Quli Khan-e Afshar Arumi. m. (b) at Mashhad, a daughter of H.R.H. Shahzada Nadir Mirza Afshar, Governor-General of Khorasan. m. (c) 15th October 1799, Hajjiya, daughter of Amir Guna Khan-e Kord Za'faranlu, Ilkhani of the Za'faranlu Kurds, Governor of Khabushan. m. (d) a lady from Mazandaran. m. (e) a lady from Shiraz. m. (f) a Turkoman lady. He d. of the plague at Tehran, 22nd July 1835, having had issue, twenty-one sons and seven daughters (ancestor of the Farmanfamaii family):
a) H.R.H. Shahzada Reza Quli Mirza, Nai'bul-Iyala. b. ca. 1806 (s/o Nawab Hajjiya). Previously styled Nai'bul-Mulk. Governor of Behheban 1822-1831, Shiraz 1831-1833, and of Bushire 1833, Dep. Governor-General of Fars 1834-1835, Governor-General of Fars 1835. Fled to Baghdad with his brothers, after the capture of his father and visited England in 1836. He d. at Qalah Hajji Karim near Kermanshah, en route during his return from exile, 1862, having had issue, a son and a daughter:
i) H.H. Shahzada Nudhar Mirza. Governor of Qalladar, Asir and 'Ala Marvdasht 1859-1860 and 1882-1883, C-in-C Khorosan 1861-1862, Chief Magistrate of Shiraz 1865-1866, and of Qur va-Karzin 1883-1884. He had issue, three sons:
(1) H.H. Shahzada 'Abu'l 'Ali Mirza.*
(2) H.H. Shahzada 'Abu'l Husain Mirza.*
(3) H.H. Shahzada 'Abu'l Muhammad Mirza.*
* note: one of these princes enjoyed the title of Saiful-Mulk, and had issue, a son:
(a) Shahzada Shaikh Saif ud-din Mirza. b. 1856.
i) a daughter. m. at Sultaniyeh, 1859, H.I.M. Nasir ud-Din Shah, Shahanshah of Persia, KG (b. at Kuhnamir, 17th July 1831; k. Tehran, 1st May 1896), son of H.I.M. Muhammad Shah, Shahanshah of Persia, by his second wife, H.M. Malika Jahan Khanum, Mahd-i-'Aliya, daughter of Field Marshal H.H. Amir Muhammad Qasim Khan-e Qajar Quyunlu, Amir-i-Kabir. She had issue, one son - see below.
b) H.R.H. Shahzada Imam Quli Mirza, Ghazanfarud-Daula (s/o the Mazandaran lady). Governor of Saba 1831-1832. He d. 1854.
c) H.R.H. Shahzada Najaf Quli Mirza [Vali]. b. ca. 1808 (s/o a Georgian slave). Governor of Kuhgiluya 1822. Fled to Baghdad with his brothers, after the capture of his father and visited England in 1836. A noted poet and Persian and Arabic scholar. Author A Journal of a Residence in England. m. a daughter of Mirza Mansur Khan-e Behbehani, sometime Governor of Behbehan. He d. at Baghdad before 1862.
d) H.R.H. Shahzada Nasru'llah Mirza (s/o the Mazandaran lady). Governor of Shulistan and Mamasani 1831. A noted calligrapher.
e) H.R.H. Shahzada Timur Mirza, Hisamud-Daula. b. ca. 1812 (s/o Nawab Hajjiya). Governor of Bushire 1828-1829 and 1833-1835. Fled to Baghdad with his brothers, after the capture of his father and visited England in 1836. A noted poet and author under the pen name Vali, author of 'Baznamah-i-Nasiri', a famous work on falconry (1868). Returned to Tehran and given charge of the Imperial Falcons. m. (first) H.R.H. Shahzadi Naushaba Khanum, daughter of his uncle, Field Marshal H.I.H. Shahzada Hasan 'Ali Mirza, I'timadul-Mulk,Shujaus-Sultana, KhanBahadurKhan, Governor of Mashhad and Kerman. m. (second) a daughter of Mirza Vali Khan-e Bakhsh Mamassani. He d. at Tehran, 1874, having had issue, at least five sons and two daughters:
i) H.H. Shahzada 'Alam Shah Mirza.
ii) H.H. Shahzada Maghrur Mirza, Muvasaqud-Daula. Chief Steward of the Imperial Household 1896-1910, Governor of Kashan 1899-1903, and Mazandaran 1903-1905 and 1906-1907, Minister of the Imperial Court 1910-1915. m. and had issue, two sons:
(1) H.H. Shahzada Muhammad Hasan Mirza, 'Ainus-Sultana. b. 1880. m. at Tehran, 13th August 1898, H.I.H. Shahzadi Aqdasus-Sultana.(b. 1883), daughter of H.I.M. Muzaffar ud-din Shah, Shahanshah of Persia, KG.
(2) H.H. Shahzada Manuchir Mirza. Entered Persian Foreign Service 1902, Kharguzar at Shiraz 1903-1905.
iii) Major-General H.H. Shahzada Masrur Mirza [Agha Masrur] (s/o Naushaba Khanum). C-in-C at Mazandaran 1902. He had issue, a son:
f) H.R.H. Shahzada Shahrukh Mirza (s/o a Georgian slave). Governor of Kashan 1848-1849. He d. at Shiraz, 1874, having had issue, one son:
i) H.H. Shahzada Jalal ud-din Mirza.
g) H.R.H. Shahzada Jahangir Mirza, Sahib Ikhtiar (cre. 1831). Governor of Darab 1831.
h) H.R.H. Shahzada Akbar Mirza (s/o a Georgian slave).
i) Field Marshal H.R.H. Shahzada Kaikhusru Mirza (s/o Amir Guna's daughter). m. his first cousin, a daughter of Field Marshal H.I.H. Shahzada Hasan 'Ali Mirza, I'timadul-Mulk,Shujaus-Sultana, KhanBahadurKhan, Governor of Mashhad and Kerman. He d. at Mashhad, 1857, having had issue, one son:
i) H.H. Shahzada Jamal ud-din Mirza. b. 1843, educ. privately. Governor of Qazerun 1869, of Lar 1877. He d. after 1888.
j) H.R.H. Shahzada Iskandar Mirza. b. 1822 (s/o Nawab Hajjiya). He d. at Kermen, 18xx, having had issue, two sons:
i) H.H. Shahzada Jahan Nush Mirza. d. after 1888.
ii) H.H. Shahzada Asghar Mirza.
k) H.R.H. Shahzada Muhammad Mirza (s/o Nawab Hajjiya).
l) H.R.H. Shahzada Nadir Mirza (s/o Hajjiya). m. and had issue:

r) H.R.H. Shahzada Tahmasp Mirza. Employed in the Tubkhana at Shiraz and d. after 1854, having had issue, one son:
i) H.H. Shahzada Muhammad Husain Mirza.
s) H.R.H. Shahzada Sultan Ibrahim Mirza (full brother of Kamran Mirza).
a) H.R.H. Shahzadi … Khanum. m. before 1829, Farzand Maqami Nawab-i Haji Mirza Abu'l Hasan Khan-e Fasai, Governor of Fasa 1832-1833, fourth son of Mirza Hadi Khan-e Fasai.
b) H.R.H. Shahzadi … Khanum. m. at Shiraz, 1824, as his second wife, H.E. Hajji Mirza Shukru'llah Khan-e Nuri (d. at Mdina 1844), sometime Amir-i-Diwan of Fars, son of Mirza Asadu'llah Khan-e Nuri, Nizamud-Daula, sometime Paymaster General. She having had issue, two sons.
c) H.R.H. Shahzadi Shahzada Khanum. m. at Bandar 'Abbas, 19th July 1827 (div. for infidelity 1833), H.H. al-Haj Sayyid Said bin Sultan, Sayyid of Muscat and Oman (b. at Sumail, 1790; d. at sea off the Seychelles, 19th October 1856), second son of H.H. Sayyid Sultan bin Ahmad, Imam of Muscat and Oman. She d.s.p. in childbirth in Persia after having given birth to an illegitimate son by a bath attendant - see Oman.
d) H.R.H. Shahzadi … Khanum. m. 18xx, Mirza 'Abu'l Hasan Khan, Mushirul-Mulk (d. Eptember/October 1882), Vizier of Fars 1846-1848, 1853, 1855-1858, 1860-1863, 1865-1869 and 1874-1876, younger son of Mirza Muhammad 'Ali Khan Shirazi Khafriki, Mushirul-Mulk, sometime Vizier of Fars.
e) H.R.H. Shahzadi … Khanum. m. at the Bagh-e Aram, Shiraz, 1825, as his second wife, H.H. Mirza Muhammad 'Ali Khan-e Qashqai, Ilkhani of the Qashqai Confederation (b. 1793; d. 1850), third son of Jan Muhammad Khan-e Qashqai, Ilkhani of the Qashqai Confederation. She d. in childbirth, June 1833.
f) H.R.H. Shahzadi … Khanum. m. 18xx, General H.H. Mirza Muhammad Zaki Khan (d. at Kerman, before 1835), third son of Agha Baba Khan-e Nuri, Minister to FarmanFarma 1809-1823.
g) H.R.H. Shahzadi … Khanum. m. H.R.H. Shahzada Hulagu Mirza (d. 1854), eldest son of her uncle, Field Marshal H.I.H. Shahzada Hasan 'Ali Mirza, I'timadul-Mulk,Shujaus-Sultana, KhanBahadurKhan, Governor of Mashhad and Kerman, by his wife, a daughter of Murtaza Quli Khan-e Qajar Quyunlu, JahansuzShah - see below.
