Shahzada Muhammad Husain ‘Ali Mirza, Farman Farma, Governor-General of Fars and Governor of the Persian Gulf Ports. He d. 1854.
    • b) H.R.H. Shahzada Arghun Mirza (s/o Murtaza Quli Khan’s daughter), educ. privately. Governor of Sabzevar 1829-1832. He was k. at Kerman, 1832.

        • (1) H.H. Shahzadi Zinat Agha Khanum. m. H.H. Shahzada Jalil Mirza [Jalil Badie], third son of H.R.H. Shahzada Badi uz-Zaman Mirza, Sahib-i-Ikhtiar, by his wife, H.R.H. Shahzadi Jahan Sultan Khanum, daughter of H.I.H. Shahzada Muhammad Taqi Mirza, Rashid ul-Mulk, Hisam us-Sultana. She had issue – see above.
        • (2) H.H. Shahzadi Hormat ul-Mulk. m. H.H. Shahzada Yusuf Mirza, Intizam ul-Mulk.
        • (3) H.H. Shahzadi Fakhr ul-Mulk. m. Sayyid Jalal ud-din Tabatabai, son of Sayyid ‘Ali Yazdi, clergyman.
    • t) H.R.H. Shahzada Haji Abu’l Hasan Mirza, Shaikh ur-Rais. b. at Tabriz, 1848 (s/o Khurshid Begum), educ. privately and at the Seminary of Mullah Aqa Rida, at the Officers’ Military Sch, Tehran. Chief Librarian at Mashhad in 1883, arrested after the coup 23rd June 1908. A great poet and preacher. Author of “Risalih-‘i Siyasiyyih” (1892), “Ittihad-i-Islam” (1894), “Muntakhab-i nafis” (1896), etc. m. several wives, including, Sharafat ud-Daula, daughter of Hajji Mirza Abu’l Qasim, sometime Imam Jum’a of Tehran. He d. from typhus, at Tehran, 1921, having had issue, several sons and daughters (the Shahraesi family), including:
      • i) H.H. Shahzada ... Mirza, Shaikh-i-Baha’i (s/o the first wife), educ. Ottoman Military Acad, Istanbul, Turkey.
      • ii) Brigadier H.H. Shahzada Hisam ud-din Mirza [Hesamoddin Hessami]. b. at Istanbul, before 20th March 1892 (the youngest son). m. H.H. Shahzadi Nur us-Sultana [Nour-ol-Saltaneh Badie], former wife of Hidayatu’llah Muhid Mafi, and daughter of H.H. Shahzada Jalil Mirza, by his first wife, H.H. Shahzadi Zinat Aga Khanum, eldest daughter of H.H. Shahzada Sultan Muhammad Mirza Hessami. He d. before 21st March 1954 (bur. Zahir ud-Daula Cemetery, Shemiran).
      • i) H.H. Shahzadi Fakhr ul-Mulk. m. H.H. Shahzada Ibrahim Khalil Mirza [Ebrahim Khalil Badiei], eldest son of H.H. Shahzada Jalil Mirza, by his first wife, H.H. Shahzadi Zinat Aga Khanum, eldest daughter of H.H. Shahzada Sultan Muhammad Mirza Hessami – see above.
    • u) H.R.H. Shahzada Muhammad Hashim Mirza (s/o Khurshid Begum). Assist to the Deputy Mutawali (Mu’in ut-Tawlia) of the Astan-i-Quds, Mashhad 1864-1879. Poet and man of letters. He had issue, two daughters:
      • i) H.H. Shahzadi Anis ud-Daula. m. (?) Nasir ud-din Shah.
      • ii) H.H. Shahzadi Nahzat ud-Daula. m. H.H. Shahzada Muhammad Mirza Azodi.
    • a) H.R.H. Shahzadi Malik Sultan Khanum. m. ca 1831, Field Marshal H.R.H. Shahzada Bahman Mirza (b. at Tehran, 11th October 1810; d. at Shusha, Azerbaijan, 11th February 1884 (bur. Imamzadi Cemetery near the Ibrahimi Mosque, Barda), sometime actg Governor-General of Azerbaijan, son of her paternal uncle, Field Marshal H.I.H. Shahzada Abbas Mirza, Qahraman ul-Mulk, Nai’b us-Sultana, Crown Prince of Persia, by his first wife, Aisha Khanum, daughter of Field Marshal H.H. Amir Mirza Muhammad Khan-e Qajar Devehlu, Tajbaksh, Ilkhani of the Royal tribe and Governor-General of Tehran. She had issue – see above.
    • b) H.R.H. Shahzadi Jahan Sultan Khanum. m. H.R.H. Shahzada Badi uz-Zaman Mirza, Sahib-i-Ikhtiar, sometime Deputy Governor of Astarabad, second son of her paternal uncle, H.I.H. Shahzada Muhammad Quli Mirza, Qawam ul-Mulk, Mulk Ara, sometime Governor-General of Mazandaran, by his wife, H.R.H. Shahzadi Shahzanan Khanum, daughter H.M. Hast Sultan bar Salatin-i-Jahan Shah-i-Shahhan Shah-i-Jahan Shahrukh Shah, Sahib-i-Qiran, Shahanshah of Persia, of the Afshar dynasty. She had issue, three sons – see above.
  • 8) H.I.H. Shahzada Haji ‘Ali Naqi Mirza, Tajbaksh, Nawab-i Amin ul-Mulk, Rukn ud-Daula. b. 30th May 1793 (s/o Begum Jan Khanum), educ. privately. Governor of Qazvin 1818-1822 & 1829-1834, of Mashhad 1823-1829, and of Tehran 1834, Governor-General of Khorasan 1822-1823. Supported his brother Zill us-Sultan against Muhammad Shah, and assisted in his Coronation. Thereafter surnamed Tajbaksh. Arrested and imprisoned at Tehran and Ardibil 1835-1838. Escaped from confinement in July 1838 and fled to Russian territory, then to Istanbul and Alexandria, before finally settling in Baghdad. m. (first) Naneh Jani Khanum, daughter of General H.E. Mustafa Quli Khan-e Qajar Quyunlu. m. (second) a Jewess. m. (third) a Kurdish lady. m. (fourth) a lady from the Qajar tribe from Qazvin. m. (fifth) a lady from Isfahan. He d. at Baghdad, Iraq, before 28th August 1889 (bur. there at Karbala), having had issue, fourteen sons and fourteen daughters (ancestor of the Vala family):
    • a) H.R.H. Shahzada Sultan Badi uz-Zaman Mirza (s/o Mustafa Quli Khan’s daughter). Governor of Qazvin and Dogman.
    • b) H.R.H. Shahzada Iskandar Mirza (s/o Mustafa Quli Khan’s daughter).
    • c) H.R.H. Shahzada Jahangir Mirza (s/o Mustafa Quli Khan’s daughter).
    • d) H.R.H. Shahzada Anushirvan Mirza (s/o Mustafa Quli Khan’s daughter).
    • e) H.R.H. Shahzada Darab Mirza (s/o a Kurdish lady).
    • f) H.R.H. Shahzada Muhammad Karim Mirza.
    • g) H.R.H. Shahzada Afrasyab Mirza.
    • h) H.R.H. Shahzada Muhammad Rahim Mirza.
    • i) H.R.H. Shahzada Nasru’llah Mirza (full brother of Hamza Mirza). Escaped from Ardibil with his father to Russian territory in July 1838.
    • j) H.R.H. Shahzada Shahrukh Mirza (s/o a Qajar mother).
    • k) H.R.H. Shahzada Hamza Mirza (full brother of Nasru’llah Mirza). m. a younger daughter of his paternal uncle, H.I.H. Shahzada ‘Allah Verdi Mirza, Nawab-i-Raunaq ul-Mulk, sometime Governor of Shahrud and Bastam, by his wife, Zainab Khanum, daughter of his uncle, General H.H. Haji Husain Quli Khan-e Qajar [Kuchuk], sometime Governor-General of Fars.
    • l) H.R.H. Shahzada Seyawush Mirza.
    • m) H.R.H. Shahzada Amanu’llah Mirza (full brother of Nasru’llah Mirza). He d. after 1896.
    • n) H.R.H. Shahzada Ishaq Mirza (s/o a Jewess). He d. after 1896.
    • a) H.R.H. Shahzadi Mulk-i-Jaham Khanum (d/o Naneh Jani). m. ... Pezeshgian. she had issue, a daughter.
