1) Basharat Khan Yusufzai. Settled at Bisharatnagar, near Rampur. He had issue, a son:
a) Nawab Afdal Khan Bahadur. He had issue, a son:
i) Nawab Murtaza Khan Bahadur. He d. after 1858.
2) Asaulat Khan Yusufzai. He had issue, three sons:
a) Bakshi ul-Mamlikat, Vakil-i-Mutlaq, Amir ul-Umara, Najib ud-Daula, Shuja ud-Daula, Nawab Muhammad Najib Khan Bahadur, Zabit Jang, Nawab of Najibabad. A Yusufzai Pathan who travelled to India from Swabi, near Swat, in 1739. Joined his uncle, Bisharat Khan, who had settled with his band of Pathans at Bisharatnagar, near Rampur. Raised to an Imperial mansab of 5,000 zat and 5,000 sowar, prom. to 7,000 zat and 7,000 sowar in 1756. Nazim of Saharanpur. Granted Nagina and Sherkot, in Bijnor. Joined Ahmad Shah Durrani during his invasion of India, becoming his plenipotentiary 1753, and Guardian to Emperor Alamgir II in 1756. Distinguished himself at the Battle of Panipat. Appointed as Vizier of the Empire and invested with the titles of Bakshi ul-Mamlikat, Vakil-i-Mutlaq, and Amir ul-Umara, together with the Royal insignia, 1761. m. a daughter of Dunde Khan Rohilla. He d. at Hapur, 31st October 1770 (bur. Najibabad), having had issue:
i) Nawab Muhammad Kalu Khan Bahadur (s/o Dunde Khan Rohilla's daughter). m. at Aonla, before 30th May 1767, a daughter of Nawab Sa'idu'llah Khan Bahadur, of Moradabad. He had issue.
iii) Bakshi ul-Mamlikat, Vakil-i-Mutlaq, Amir ul-Umara, Najib ud-Daula, Nawab Zabita Khan Bahadur, Nawab of Najibabad. Appointed to his father's offices and invested with the titles of Bakshi ul-Mamlikat, Vakil-i-Mutlaq, and Amir ul-Umara, together with the Royal insignia, October 1770. Dismissed for failing to protect the Imperial family. Restored 17th December 1772. Granted Bawani Saharanpur in jagir 1776. Pardoned and restored to some of his former possessions 30th January 1779. Settled at Ghansgarh. m. (first) a daughter of Baz Khan Yusufzai. m. (second) a daughter of Zain Khan Yusufzai. He d. at Ghansgarh, 21st January 1785, having had issue:
(1) Nawab Ghulam Qadir Khan Bahadur Rohilla (eldest son), whom the Emperor is said, by tradition, to have transmuted into a haram page, and who lived to exact a fearful vengeance for the ill-treatment he received and who blinded the captive Emperor Shah Alam II, 10th August 1788. He was captured by the Marathas while attempting to flee towards Ghousgarh, who cut off his ears, nose, arms and legs and sent him in that mutilated state to Delhi, but he died during the journey, December 1788 (bur. Aul, pargana Furrah, zila Agra).
(2) Amir ul-Umara, Najib-ud-daula, Nawab Ghulam Muin ud-din Khan Bahadur, Sabit Jang [Bhanbu Khan], Nawab of Najibabad. Fled to the Punjab after the death of his elder brother. Returned in 1812 at British invitation, granted a pension of Rs. 5,000 p.m. and allowed to settle in Najibabad. He d. at Najibabad, 3rd October 1843, having had issue, two (or four) sons:
(a) Amir ud-Daula, Zia ul-Mulk, Zawi al-Qadir, Nawab Muhammad Mahmud Khan Bahadur, Zulqadir, Muzaffar Jang, Nawab of Najibabad. Occupied Bijnor during the Mutiny on 1st June 1857 but was defeated at Nagina 21st April 1858. He d. in Meerut Gaol, 1858, having had issue, two sons and a daughter, including:
(i) Sahibzada Muhammad Ghazanfar 'Ali Khan Bahadur. Served under his father during the Indian Mutiny 1857-1858. Appointed as Heir Apparent by his father, 22nd February 1858.
(b) Rafi ud-Daula, Hafiz ul-Mulk, Nawab Muhammad Jalal ud-din Khan Bahadur, Mansur Jang, Nawab of Najibabad. Rebelled with his brother and brother-in-law in 1857. m. (first) Majlis Ara Begum Sahiba, a lady from the Rampur family. m. (second) Qudsia Begum Sahiba (d. at Rampur, before April 1902). He was k. (hanged for complicity in the Indian Mutiny), within eight miles of Najibabad, 23rd April 1858, having had issue, three sons and two daughters:
(i) General H.E. Sahibzada Azim ud-din Khan. b. at Najibabad, 20th April 1854 (s/o Qudsia Begum), educ. Moradabad Madrassa. Entered the Rampur State Forces under his uncle, Cdt 1879-1901, Chief Minister 1886-1887, Vice-Presdt Rampur Administrative Council 1887-1889, and Vice-Presdt Rampur Regency Council 1889-1896 and 1899-1901. Granted the personal title of Khan Bahadur, 18th January 1885. m. (first) Muazziz Dulhan Naushabha Begum Sahiba (d. at Rampur, before April 1902). m. (second) Generali Dulhan Fatima Begum Sahiba. He was k. at Rampur, a victim of court intrigue, 1891, having had issue, an only surviving daughter:
1. Nadir uz-Zamani Shahzadi Begum Sahiba (d/o Fatima Begum). m. as his first wife, Sahibzada Sir Abdus Samad Khan Bahadur, CIE, KIH (b. at Moradabad, 27th September 1874; d. 27th January 1943), sometime Chief Minister of Rampur, son of Sahibzada Abdus Salam Khan. She had issue, an only daughter - see below.
(ii) Major Sahibzada Hamid uz-Zafar Khan Bahadur, CIE (1.1.1908) (s/o Qudsia Begum). Joined ICS 1878, served as NaibTahsildar, Tahsildar, Deputy Collector, Mgr Court of Wards, and Sub-divisional officer at Lalitpur, Sec Rampur Council of Regency 1891-1892 and 1893-1894, Personal Asst. to the Presdt. of the State Council 1892-1893,Vice-Presdt Rampur Administrative Council 1894-1896, seconded for service with the Foreign Dept. of the GOI 1896-1897, Vice-Presdt Jodhpur Regency Council 1897-1898, Chief Minister with the title of Diwan 1898, Senior MSC Alwar. Granted the personal title of KhanBahadur 1st January 1896. Rcvd: Delhi Durbar silver medal (1903).
(iii) Nawab 'Abdu's Salam Khan Bahadur (s/o Qudsia Begum). A bibliophile who amassed a large library of books, which were donated at his death to the Aligarh Muslim Univ. Author of "Sarguzasth-i-Nawab Najib ud-Daula". m. and had issue:
1. Sahibzada Sir Abdus Samad Khan Bahadur, CIE (1.1.1915), KIH 1st Class (14.6.1912). b. at Moradabad, 27th September 1874, educ. He d. 27th January 1943, having had issue, three sons and three daughters:

(d) General Nawab 'Ali Asghar Khan Bahadur, CSI (3.3.1876). Cdt Rampur State Forces. m. Mussamat Said un-nisa Begum. He d. at Rampur, August 1879, having had issue, a son:
(i) Nawab Muhammad Zainal-Abidin Khan. Faujdar of Jaipur. m. Sahibzadi Abida Begum Sahiba [Mussamat Umrao Begum], daughter of H.H. 'Ali Jah, Farzand-i-Dilpazir-i-Daulat-i-Inglishia, Mukhlis ud-Daula, Nasir ul-Mulk, Amir ul-Umara, Nawab Syed Sir Muhammad Yusuf 'Ali Khan Bahadur, Mustaid Jang, Nawab of Rampur, KSI, by his first wife, H.H. Nawab Firuz un-nisa Begum Sahiba [Bahu Begum], daughter of Syed 'Abdu'l 'Ali Khan.
(i) Sahibzada 'Abdu'l Majid Khan, CIE (1.1.1926). Assist Guardian to the Nawab of Rampur 1894, Sec of the Administrative Council 1894-1896, Revenue Sec 1907-1929, Revenue Minister 1929-1930.
(a) A sister of Nawab Mahmud Khan. m. Nawab Sa'adu'llah Khan Bahadur (k. (hanged for complicity in the Indian Mutiny), within eight miles of Najibabad, 23rd April 1858), zamindar of Barhapura, sometime Police deputy at Nagina and munsif of Amroha. She had issue.
iv) Zabita's sister. m. Bakshi ul-Mamlikat, Vakil-i-Mutlaq, Amir ul-Umara, Rustam-i-Hind, Zulfiqar ud-Daula, Nawab Mirza Najaf Khan Bahadur, Ghalib Jang (b. at Isfahan, 1737; d. 26th April 1782), sometime Vicegerent of the Empire to the Emperor Shah Alam II, younger son of Mir Said 'Ali.
b) Nawab Muhammad Sultan Khan Bahadur (full-brother of Najib Khan). He d. after 1770, having had issue, two sons:
i) Sahibzada Muhammad Ahmadu'llah Khan. Served under Nawab Mahmud Khan during the Indian Mutiny 1857-1858, and acted as his deputy at Bijnor.
ii) General Sahibzada Muhammad Shafiu'llah Khan Bahadur. Served under Nawab Mahmud Khan during the Indian Mutiny 1857-1858 as C-in-C Rampur State Forces.
c) xxx, who had issue, a son:
i) Mustaqim ud-Daula, Nawab Muhammad Irtiza Khan Bahadur, Sipahdar Jang.
