1887 - 1889  H.H. ‘Ali Jah, Farzand-i-Dilpazir-i-Daulat-i- Inglishia, Mukhlis ud-Daula, Nasir ul-Mulk, Amir ul-Umara, Nawab Muhammad Mushtaq ‘Ali Khan Bahadur, Mustaid Jang, Nawab of Rampur. b. 1856, fourth son of H.H. ‘Ali Jah, Farzand -i-Dilpazir-i-Daulat-i-Inglishia, Mukhlis ud-Daula, Nasir ul-Mulk, Amir ul-Umara, Haji Nawab Sir Kalb-i-‘Ali Khan Bahadur, Mustaid Jang, Nawab of Rampur, GCSI, CIE, by his first wife, H.H. Nawab Hatim uz-Zamani Nizami Begum Sahiba, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, 23rd March 1887. Installed by the Lieutenant-Governor in person, at the Khurshid Manzil, Qila-i-Mualla, Rampur, April 1888. Confirmed in the hereditary salute of 13-guns and the style of His Highness, 8th February 1889. Suffered from continual ill-health and entrusted state affairs to a Council of Administration. Rcvd: KIH silver medal (1877). m. (first) H.H. Nawab Askari Begum Sahiba, daughter of Sahibzada Syed Mubarak ‘Ali Khan (see above). m. (second) H.H. Nawab Khurshid Jahan Begum Sahiba (d. 9th September 1875), daughter of Syed Inayat Hasan Khan [Inna Mian], by his wife, Sahibzadi Kulsum Begum Sahiba [Manjali Begum], daughter of Nawab Kazim ‘Ali Khan Bahadur. He d. at the Macchi Bhawan, Qila-i-Mualla, Rampur, 25th February 1889, having had issue, two sons:

1889 - 1930 Major-General H.H. ‘Ali Jah, Farzand-i-Dilpazir-i- Daulat-i-Inglishia, Mukhlis ud-Daula, Nasir ul-Mulk, Amir ul- Umara, Nawab Syed Sir Hamid ‘Ali Khan Bahadur, Mustaid Jang, Nawab of Rampur, GCSI (3.6.1921), GCIE (1.1.1908), GCVO (12.12.1911). b. at Rampur, 31st August 1875, elder son of H.H. ‘Ali Jah, Farzand-i-Dilpazir-i-Daulat-i-Inglishia, Mukhlis ud-Daula, Nasir ul-Mulk, Amir ul-Umara, Nawab Muhammad Mushtaq ‘Ali Khan Bahadur, Mustaid Jang, Nawab of Rampur, by his second wife, H.H. Nawab Khurshid Jahan Begum Sahiba, educ. privately. Succeeded on the death of his father, 25th February 1889 and ascended the musnaid 27th February 1889. Reigned under a Council of Regency until he came of age and was invested with limited ruling powers at the Diwankhana, Qila-i-Mualla, Rampur, 4th April 1894. Presdt Council of Administration 29th January 1894-12th May 1896. Invested with full ruling powers by the Viceroy, Lord Elgin, in person, 1st June 1896. Confirmed in the hereditary titles of ‘Ali Jah, Mukhlis ud-Daula, Nasir ul-Mulk, Amir ul-Umara, and Mustaid Jang, 29th July 1909. Attended the Delhi Coronation Durbar 1903. Cmsnd as Hon Capt British Army 6/2/1895, attached as Hon Officer 9th Regt Bengal Lancers 28/2/1896, prom Hon Maj 22/6/1897, Hon Lt-Col 25/6/1909, Hon Col 3/6/1910, and Hon Maj-Gen 14/6/1928. Hon Col Hodson’s Horse (4th Duke of Cambridge’s Own Lancers), IA 26/4/1929-1930. Colonel-in-Chief Rampur Lancers 1923-1930, Rampur Imperial Service Infantry 1910-1923, and Rampur Pioneers 1923-1930. Hon ADC to the King-Emperor George V, 3/6/1910-1930. Raised to a personal salute of 15-guns, in recognition of War services, 1st January 1918 (made permanent 1st January 1921). Presdt. All-India Music Conf. at Delhi 1918. Founded the Hamidiya Decoration (Nishan-i-Hamidiya) in three classes in 1894, and the Nishan-i-Iqbal in three classes. Rcvd: Delhi Durbar gold medals (1903 and 1911). m. (first) 30th February 1894 (div. 25th June 1922) H.H. Nawab Mulka uz-Zamani Sultanat Ara Begum Sahiba (d. of a broken heart, 29th July 1925), daughter of Major H.H. Ihtisham ud-Daula, Nawab Muhammad Ismail Khan Bahadur, Firuz Jang, Nawab of Jaora. m. (second) H.H. Nawab Shahanshah Dulhan Begum Sahiba. m. (third) at Moradabad, September 1897, H.H. Nawab Tajdar Begum Sahiba. m. (fourth) H.H. Nawab Huzur Aliya Begum Sahiba (d. at Rampur, 10th January 1938). m. (fifth) in late 1898, H.H. Nawab Sadiq Dulhan Begum Sahiba [Achan Begum]. m. (sixth) H.H. Iqbal Dulhan Begum Sahiba (d. January 1911). m. (seventh) at Rampur, 31st December 1900, a widow, daughter of Colonel Mahmud Shah Khan, a nephew of H.H. Nawab Janab-i-Aliya Begum Sahiba. m. (eighth) at Naini Tal, September 1901 (muta), H.H. Nawab Husan Jahan Begum Sahiba [Husna Begum], formerly the wife of Sahibzada Ahmad Husain Khan. m. (ninth) H.H. Nawab Musharraf Dulhan Begum Sahiba (d. 21st June 1920). m. (tenth)  H.H. Nawab Akhtar Jahan Begum Sahiba (b. at Agra, 1895), née Mary Florence (Flora) Sarks. He d. at the Hamid Manzil, Qila-i-Mualla, Rampur, 20th June 1930 (bur. Karbala, Iraq), having had issue, four sons and six daughters:
