GENEALOGY
1840 - 1855 Nawab Muhammad Said Khan Bahadur, Nawab of Rampur. b. 19th May 1786, fourth son of ‘Ali Jah, Amir ul-Umara, Nasir ul-Mulk, Mukhlis ud-Daula, Nawab Haji Ghulam Muhammad Khan Bahadur, Mustaid Jang, Nawab of Rampur, educ. privately. Entered government service and rose to be Deputy Collector at Dudain. Chosen to succeeded on the death of his cousin on 5th July 1840. Ascended the musnaid, at the Diwankhana, Qila-i-Mualla, Rampur, 20th August 1840. m. several wives including (first) Nawab Fath un-nisa Begum Sahiba, daughter of Muhammad Nur Khan. He d. at the Macchi Bhawan, Qila-i-Mualla, Rampur, 1st April 1855 (bur. there at the Qila-i-Mualla Imambara), having had issue, five sons and one daughter:
